iOS11

I updated iPhone and iPad to iOS11.

I updated them both to 11.0.0, after making backups. I used iTune running on a MacBook to do both the backups and the updates.　Before this update the iPad was like a big iPhone, but now it is different.　I read that it is easier to use now, but still it will take me some time to get used to it.

Soon after that update, notification of an update to 11.0.1 came.  I connected the iPad to MacBook, made a backup and then updated the iPad.  This time, another backup started automatically after the update. This backup didn’t finish after a very long wait so I forced it to stop. I rebooted the MacBook and the backup restarted. This time it finished OK. I updated iPhone the same way and again the backup after the update didn’t finish.  I checked on the internet but couldn’t find anything about this problem so I just rebooted everything and then it was OK.

I get nervous until everything is completed.

iPhone とiPadをiOS11にしました。

MacBookのiTuneにつないでバックアップを取ってからアップデートしました。結構スムーズにできました。今までiPadは大きいiPhone という感じでしたが、いろいろと違いができたようです。インターネットでみると「使いやすくなった」とのことですが、慣れるまで大変です。

と思ったらすぐにiOS 11.0.1のアップデートが出ました。まずiPadをMacBookでバックアップを取ってからやりましたが、アップデート後のバックアップがいつになっても終わりません。仕方なく強制終了させ、やり直してみたら無事に終わりました。

次にiPhone をやりましたが、やはりiPadと同じようにアップデート後のバックアップが終わりません。今回はインターネットで調べてみましたが、同じような症状は見つからず、今回も強制終了させてやり直して無事終了。

ちゃんと終わるまではドキドキです。
