The external HD I bought was 250GB.
Before that, I had saved all the photos on CDs, so it became much easier to organize photos: drag and drop.
Now, the physical size of external HDs has become much smaller and the capacity is much greater. Also, the price is much lower now.
The storage required for one photo has became much bigger, so I still have to choose which are the good ones worth saving. It is a big job.

それまではCDに写真を保存していたので、ドラッグ&ドロップでだいぶ楽になったと感じました。大きくてデスクの上で場所を取りました。
それが今はその8分の1ぐらいの大きさでなんと2TB！中身は8倍です。価格もかなり下がりました。
デジカメの画像の大きさも大きくなったので撮った写真全部を保存するわけにはいきません。その整理にまだ追われています。
