My husband got a new PC at last
He was using a laptop which he bought in 2005. It was initially Windows XP, then upgraded to Windows7, then upgraded to Windows10.
He added RAM memory to 3GB, but the performance wasn’t great any more for use on Windows10. I recommended an iMac to him, but he decided to get a windows desktop.
We went to Akihabara and ordered a custom-made PC: 32GB of RAM, 516GB SSD, and so on.
It came with a Japanese OS, so I helped him to change it into English and my IT job for that PC was done.
Now he is trying to hard to configure the PC and move the data from the old one. It will be at least a 3 month job, I expect.
夫が新しいPCを手にいれました
ずっと2005年に買ったノートPCを使っていました。XPでしたが、Windows７、そしてWindows10にアップグレードしました。
メモリも足して3GBにしましたが、Windows10で使うにはパフォーマンスがよくありませんでした。私はiMacを勧めましたが、用途としてWindowsでないと困るということでそちらを選びました。
秋葉原に行って、カスタムメイドのPCを注文しました、メモリ32GB、SSD516GBなどです。
日本語のOSだったので、それを英語に変える手伝いをし、それで私のITとしての仕事は終わりました。
今彼は新しいPCを使いやすくしたり、古いほうからデータを移したりしています。私の予測では多分３ヶ月はかかると思います。
