After we moved to the countryside, we went to Tokyo a few times a year, mainly to see a doctor.
Now we don’t need to go to Tokyo so often, as we found a doctor closer to home. Last year, to have the catheter ablation, we started going to Tokyo more than once a month. We had gotten used to our life in the countryside so it was quite stressful: no fresh country air, crowded trains and noise at night when we had to stay in a hotel.
I can’t believe that I used to live there. I’m looking forward to finishing the regular visits.
田舎に引っ越してから通院で年に数回東京に行っていました。
その後東京よりも近いところに通院することになったので、行く必要がなくなりました。
去年カテーテルアブレーションを受けることになり、月に1回以上東京に行くことになってしまいました。田舎の暮らしに慣れていたので、きれいでない空気、混んでいる電車、泊まりの時の騒音など、かなりストレスになりました。
都会に住んでいたのが信じられません。あと数回で通院が終わりそうで待ちきれません。
