夜のうちに台風が来ました。
私は熟睡していて気づきませんでしたが、夫は風がとても強かったと言っていました。でも何の損害も無いようでした。
今日数本あるユーカリの木の一本の枝が折れているのに気づきました。結構太い枝だったのでびっくりしました。また窓の外にかけてあった日よけがひとつなくなっているのに気づきました。家の近くを探しましたが見つかりませんでした。もう暑くないので今年は必要でなく、気づくのが遅れました。
もっと注意深くみたら、もっと損害に気づくかも知れません。
A typhoon came during the night.
I slept through it all, but my husband said that it was very windy. In the morning we didn’t see any damage.
I noticed today that one of the eucalyptus trees lost a big branch. We also noticed that we were missing one of the window shades. We looked for it, but couldn’t find it anywhere near the house. The sun is not so hot at this time of year and that’s why we didn’t notice it right away after the typhoon. We won’t need it any more this year.
If we look more carefully, we may find some more damage.
