Cherry blossoms were in full bloom around my sister ‘s house
I went to my sister ‘s house after a long absence for our father’ s seven-year memorial. On the way there I saw many cherry trees in full bloom. My sister’s house is only two hours away by car from here, but there are no cherry blossoms around my house yet.
I have heard that many foreigners associate Japan with the color pink. It must be an image of cherry blossoms. The trees are beautiful in full bloom, but I like the time when the flowers are scattering and dancing.
The cherry blossoms that are in full bloom now will be scattered in a week. By that time the cherry blossoms in our garden will begin to bloom. We can enjoy the cherry blossoms for an even longer period of time if we drive to the north.
姉の家のあたりでは桜が満開でした
父の７回忌で久しぶりに姉の家に行きました。途中から満開の桜の木がたくさん見えました。車で２時間の距離ですが、うちのほうではまだ全然咲いていません。
日本のイメージの色は「ピンク」という外国人が多いと聞きました。桜のイメージでしょう。満開のころも綺麗ですが、花が散って舞っているときが好きです。
あと1週間もすれば今満開の桜は散ってしまいます。その頃にはうちの庭の桜が咲き始めます。北上すれば長い期間楽しめるのです。
