Our neighbour told us that our blueberry plants are too close to each other
We tend to plant things too close as the plants are so small when we get them. We decided to replant 3 blueberry plants and one chestnut tree. We thought one of the chestnut trees died, so we bought another one and planted it next to it, but the original one wasn’t actually dead, so there were two chestnuts plants next to each other. We decided to replant the smaller one.
We didn’t feel that hot when we started, but we soon became sweaty. It took us some time to choose places to replant. There were some more things to do apart from replanting. Gardening never ends.
At the end, we gave them some water. We worked for 90 minutes today.
お隣さんから「ブルーベリーの間隔が近すぎるよ。」と言われました
特に植えるときは苗が小さいので、ついつい近くに植えてしまいます。今日はブルーベリーの苗3本を移植することにしました。ついでに栗の木も。これは枯れてしまったと思ったのですぐ近くにまた新しい苗を植えたのに、前のも生きていたんです。2本隣り合わせだったので小さいほうを別のところに植え直しです。
朝はそんなに暑いとは感じませんでしたが、そのうち汗だくになりました。移植する場所を選ぶのにも時間がかかりました。やっている途中でも別のことが目に入り、そちらをやったり。庭仕事に終わりはありません。
最後に水やりで終わり。今日は90分の庭仕事でした。
