I am not very skillful, but I do sew some small things that need stitches in a straight line
I like to think of ways to make things easily and cheaply.
My mother was very good at sewing. She made Yukata for my sister and me. She also made our clothes, after checking the designs in shops. She made things for her grandchildren too.
I didn’t get my mother’s sewing ability, but my sister did.
器用な方ではありませんが、直線で縫える小物は時々作ります
どちらかというと、どうやったら簡単で安く作れるかを考えるのが好きなのです。
母は器用でした。浴衣やお店で見た気に入ったデザインの洋服を作ってもらったこともありました。孫の保育園用のバッグや遠足用のリュックも作ってくれました。
姉には遺伝したようですが、私にはしなかったようです。
