One of my husband’s hobbies is music
He plays the electric guitar, and when we lived in Tokyo the noise was bothering me a lot thinking of the neighbours. The sound sometimes got louder and louder and I had to tell him to keep the sound down many times.
Here, even when he plays the guitar at midnight, I say nothing. We have triple glass windows and they keep the noise inside. Also, the neighbours are far enough away.
Sometimes people come to our house to play music together. The sound is rather loud, but I am the only one who is bothered by the noise. I am OK though, as no worries of disturbing the neighbours.
夫の趣味のひとつは音楽です。
エレキギターを演奏しますが、東京にいた時は周りに気を使いました。本人にその気がなくてもノリノリになると音がだんだん大きくなっていくのです。何度も音を下げて！足でタップしないで！と言わなくてはなりませんでした。
今は真夜中に演奏しても何も言いません。寒さ対策で窓を三重にしたこともあり、音が外に漏れることがないからです。お隣さんとの距離もあります。
こちらで知り合った人達と時々集まって一緒に演奏をします。かなりの音ですが、窓を閉め切っていれば外にはほとんど音が漏れません。うるさいと思うのは私だけですが、周りへの迷惑で気をやきもきしなくてすむのは嬉しいです。
